Lối sống của cộng đồng người Việt ở Australia qua một số nghiên cứu nước ngoài
Abstract
Người Việt ở Australia đã và đang trở thành một cộng đồng lớn mạnh, có những nét đặc trưng riêng về văn hóa và lối sống. Những năm gần đây, các nhà nghiên cứu trong và ngoài Australia tiến hành nhiều nghiên cứu khai thác các khía cạnh khác nhau về cộng đồng này dưới nhiều góc độ: văn hóa học, nhân học, xã hội học… Trên cơ sở điểm luận một số công trình nghiên cứu được công bố trên các tạp chí chuyên ngành và sách chuyên khảo về lối sống của người Việt ở Australia, tác giả bài viết tổng hợp những đặc điểm nổi bật về lối sống của người Việt trên ba khía cảnh: lối sống quần cư, duy trì các sinh hoạt văn hóa cộng đồng và trao truyền các giá trị văn hóa gia đình. Bài viết gồm ba phần: giới thiệu sơ lược về quá trình người Việt nhập cư ở Australia; lối sống người Việt ở Australia thông qua điểm luận các công trình nghiên cứu đã công bố; và một số nhận định, bình luận.
