Lòng tự trắc ẩn của giáo viên và tác động của nó tới các biểu hiện trầm cảm, lo âu và căng thẳng

Abstract


Lòng tự trắc ẩn là khả năng của cá nhân trong việc kết nối, cởi mở và chấp nhận với những nỗi đau của bản thân và không né tránh hay phán xét thiếu xót, thất bại của mình (Neff 2003b). Nghiên cứu lòng tự trắc ẩn và ảnh hưởng của nó tới các biểu hiện trầm cảm, lo âu, căng thẳng được thực hiện trên 217 giáo viên mầm non và tiểu học qua sử dụng thang đo Lòng tự trắc ẩn (SCS-26) và thang đo Trầm cảm, Lo âu và Căng thẳng (DASS-21). Kết quả cho thấy sự khác biệt có ý nghĩa về trình độ học vấn và môi trường giảng dạy với lòng tự trắc ẩn và hai yếu tố ấm áp và lạnh lùng với bản thân của giáo viên. Lòng tự trắc ẩn và các yếu tố của nó có mối tương quan chặt chẽ và dự báo khả năng tác động đáng kể tới các biểu hiện trầm cảm, lo âu và căng thẳng ở giáo viên.
